Second slitting machine for release coating

(June 12, 2005 )During the first week of June Guangzhou factory is installing a new slitter for release coated products. The capacity of coating machine has filled up faster than expected and the slitting has become a bottle neck. “With the help of this new slitter we are able to keep up with the coating line and avoid back log on the slitting” says Operations Manager Anssi Pulkkinen.

The line is supplied by the same company as the first one in 2004. The new line is capable to operate with higher speed (600 m/min) than the old one.
